Plant designation ALK-TRP-01

Polymer converting built for repeat industrial volume.

We run injection moulding, blow moulding and extrusion under one roof in Tripoli, converting virgin and recycled resin into containers, pipe and film for contractors, packers and wholesalers across Libya and the wider region.

Converting lines 12 installed
Annual throughput 9,600 t/yr
Resin grades held 24 grades
Operating pattern 3 × 8 shifts
Die orifice
Ø 63 mm
Melt temp.
190–210 °C
Wall tolerance
±0.05 mm

Capability

Three converting processes, one quality system

Each process runs against the same inspection plan, so a blow-moulded jerry can and an extruded pipe leave the plant to the same documented tolerance band.

PROC / INJ

Injection moulding

Clamping force from 90 to 650 tonnes across the bank. Suited to crates, closures, fittings and thick-wall housings where dimensional repeatability matters more than cycle speed.

  • Clamp range 90–650 t
  • Max shot weight 1,850 g

PROC / BLW

Blow moulding

Extrusion blow moulding for hollow containers from 250 ml to 30 L, including handled jerry cans and multi-layer bottles for chemical and food-contact duty.

  • Container range 0.25–30 L
  • Cavities per cycle 1–6

PROC / EXT

Extrusion

Single and twin-screw lines for pressure pipe, conduit, agricultural tubing and blown film, with in-line gauging on wall thickness and outside diameter.

  • Pipe OD range 16–400 mm
  • Film width 300–1,600 mm

Production lifecycle

From resin intake to sealed container

Four controlled stages. Material carries its lot number from goods-in through to the packing list, so any delivered unit can be traced back to the resin batch it came from.

  1. Raw material intake

Resin arrives in 25 kg sacks or big bags, is sampled against the supplier certificate, dried where the grade requires it, and released to a lot number.

  2. Extrusion & moulding

The released lot is dosed with masterbatch and any approved regrind, then converted on the line assigned to that product's tooling.

  3. Quality control

First-off approval, then scheduled in-process checks on weight, wall thickness, dimensions and — for containers — leak and drop testing.

  4. Packing & export

Goods are nested or palletised to a fixed pattern, shrink-wrapped, labelled, and loaded to a pre-calculated container plan.

Product families

Indicative families below. Full grade sheets, drawings and sample units are issued against a written enquiry.

ALK-HD-BM-6070

HDPE — high-density polyethylene

The workhorse for containers and pressure pipe. Stiff, chemically resistant, and tolerant of rough handling in transit and on site.

  • Density 0.952–0.960 g/cm³
  • Melt flow index 0.3 g/10 min
Jerry cans Pressure pipe Crates

ALK-LD-FL-2420

LDPE — low-density polyethylene

Soft, clear and forgiving on the seal. Used where the film has to stretch and stay intact rather than hold a shape.

  • Density 0.921–0.925 g/cm³
  • Melt flow index 2.0 g/10 min
Blown film Liners Shrink hoods

ALK-PP-IM-1100

PP — polypropylene

Higher service temperature than PE and a living hinge that survives repeated flexing. The default for closures and stacking crates.

  • Density 0.900–0.910 g/cm³
  • Melt flow index 11 g/10 min
Closures Stacking crates Hot-fill parts

Export readiness

Loading is planned before the order is confirmed

We quote the load plan with the price. You see how many units fit the container, what they weigh, and which incoterm the figure is built on — before you commit.

  • 20FT, 40FT and 40HC load plans issued per SKU
  • EXW plant, Tripoli or FOB Port of Tripoli
  • Framework agreements for recurring monthly volume
  • Documentation prepared for Libyan customs export clearance

Send us the specification, not just the product name

Give us the grade, wall thickness, annual volume and destination port. You will get a costed load plan and a lead time, not a brochure.
